This photo was taken in Kyle, Texas, under Bortle 5.9 skies, through a 6-inch f/4 Telescope, on a Sky-Watcher EQ6-R mount, with a ZWO ASI533MC PRO color camera. M109, or Messier 109, is a member of a group of roughly 80 galaxies known as the Ursa Major Galaxy Cluster and located within the constellation Ursa Major. M109 is a barred spiral galaxy and is home to about one trillion stars. The galaxy is approximately 60 million light-years away from the Earth. In the Wide Field View of M109 there are more than 35 additional small galaxies. See if you can zoom in and find them all?
