M53, GLOBULAR CLUSTER on 2024-04-04

This photo was taken in Kyle, Texas, under Bortle 5.9 skies, through a 6-inch f/4 Telescope, on a Sky-Watcher EQ6-R mount, with a ZWO ASI533MC PRO color camera. The total image acquisition time is: 06 hrs 12 min 00 sec. Messier 53 (also known as M53 and NGC5024) is a globular cluster in the Coma Berenices constellation. It is about 60,000 light-years away from the Galactic Center of our Milky Way Galaxy, which makes it one of the more outlying globular clusters. It is slightly closer to the Earth at about 58,000 light-years from our Solar System.
