M63 or Messier 63, THE SUNFLOWER GALAXY, is also known as NGC5055. THE SUNFLOWER GALAXY is a spiral galaxy in the northern constellation of Canes Venatici containing approximately 400 billion stars. M63 is part of the M51 Group, a group of galaxies that also includes M51 (The Whirlpool Galaxy). The distance to M63 is approximately 29,300,000 light-years.

This photo was taken in Kyle, Texas through a 6-inch f/4 Telescope, on a Sky-Watcher EQ6-R mount, with a ZWO ASI533MC PRO color camera plus an Optolong L Pro Light Pollution Filter. The processing was done in PixInsight. The total image acquisition time is: 12 hours 55 minutes 00 Seconds.
