NGC7089,  GLOBULAR CLUSTER on 2023-10-20+21+22

This photo was taken in Kyle, Texas, under Bortle 5.9 skies, through a 6-inch f/4 Telescope, on a Sky-Watcher EQ6-R mount, with a ZWO ASI533MC PRO color camera. The total image acquisition time is: 01 hr 26 min 15 sec. Full size files are very large and can take a minute to download. NGC7089 also known as M2, is about 55,000 light-years from our Earth. At a diameter of 175 light-years it is one of the larger known globular clusters. The cluster is compact and significantly elliptical. It is 12.5 billion years old and is one of the older globular clusters associated with our Milky Way galaxy. M2 contains about 150,000 stars.
